Research interests

In my PhD-thesis I investigated the theme of 'being in Christ' - christology and soteriology. The book is a conversation with the Puritan John Owen, Neocalvinist Herman Bavinck, Anglican ethicist Oliver O'Donovan and the German theologian Ingolf Dalferth; the middle part of the book has a BIblical-theological character and deals with Paul and John. Until now, I try to work both in systematic theology and biblical theology.

Currently, I am working on a book about hermeneutics and the doctrine of Scripture. Another research interest is the doctrine of the covenants.

Two other areas of interest: ecological theology (active in the TU-minor ecological theology) and charismatic renewal.
